Glenn Dandy bids his mother and blind father goodbye, and also heads for cheerleader training. Candy’s eyes glow and shoot red rays that levitate her mother, and, insisting she wants to be normal, Candy heads for camp. Elsewhere, at a bus terminal, cheerleading student Candy prepares to leave, but her religious mother orders her to stay away from the “evil” camp. When Pepe, the maintenance man, and his mother, Salt, warn Bambi about the camp’s curse, they learn that she knows the history, was rejected as a cheerleader in 1963, and is investing her life’s savings into this camp to show everyone what she can do. As years pass, more cheerleaders are killed and the cheerleading camp closes, but almost twenty years later, Bambi returns to open Bambi’s Summer Cheerleading Camp. An unseen killer steals a javelin and throws it onto the field, skewering the line of cheerleaders. On the football field, cheerleaders plan to go to the malt shop, and Bambi asks to join them, but they refuse because she is not a cheerleader. In the locker room, Bambi lingers by Blue’s locker until the team and reporters rush inside. In 1963, in It Had To Be, Indiana, star football player Blue Grange makes the winning touchdown for It Had To Be University. Randy and Andy smoke marijuana cigarettes while driving to campus, and. Sandy hitchhikes to camp, but insists that everyone offering a ride fill out application forms and references. ![]() ![]() ![]() According to the DV review of the film’s videocassette release, Pandemonium had “test bookings” in 1982, and was shown on cable television’s Home Box Office (HBO) channel prior to the videocassette release.Įnd credits include the following statement: “Filmed at The Warner Hollywood Studios in Hollywood.” The Jul 1982 Playboy review of Pandemonium, released by MGM/UA, was short and mostly negative. The HR stated principal photography began, and the Motion Picture Product Digest reported filming took place at Malibu Lake near Los Angeles, CA.
